this is serious folks. the New York Times reports that the health care bill vote could be as early as thursday – in 24hours.
we already know that the big pharma has the U.S. government in it’s pocket. we already know that the FDA is controlled by corporate interests. we already know that conventional medicine has sold out.
with ObamaCare you will get less freedom of choice, fewer alternatives to conventional medicine and morefunding to big pharma.
here’s what you can do: go to www.congress.org now and type in your zip code. this will bring you to a page with your congressman (or woman’s) contact info. call the Washington D.C. office and tell the receptionist that you would like to leave a message for your congressman (or woman). explain that you are a constituent and you want him or her to know that you are completely opposed to the health care bill. you can also send faxes and emails! do this now!
stress, anxiety, depression, nervousness. these manifestations are simply signs that something isn’t right! the source is for you to find. i think you’ll find it a lot easier if you are not stoned on Prozac. know what i mean?
it may be something or someone in your life: i once knew a girl who had such anxiety that she couldn’t hold down a meal. she lost about 20 pounds. her “boyfriend” at the time was openly cheating on her and frequently made remarks about her figure being too boyish. when she lost the jerkshe lost the anxiety. make sense?
sometimes the source is physical: food allergies cancause restlessness and nervous tension. vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause the same effect. the sad thing is that many people who suffer from anxiety due to a simple deficiency mistakenly turn to psychotropic drugs which in turn make the deficiency 10 times worse.
in this installment of “There’s No Need to Buy:” we will discuss simple solutions for mental stress.
1) look over your life and the people in it. is there anyone who makes you feel bad about yourself? ditch them.
2) start exercising on a daily basis. lack of exercise can cause insomnia, anxiety, fatigue and even depression!
3) write down a list of all the things you need to do. check them off one by one. this is extremely therapeutic.
4) change your diet. a poor diet can cause every symptom above. less processed foods, more whole foods.
5) clean and organize your house or apartment. top to bottom. see “There’s No Need To Buy: (part 1)”.
6) take vitamin b1. a deficiency in this b vitamin is known to cause depression. remember to take it with a good multi-vitamin so it can be completely absorbed.
7) make sure you’re getting enough calcium and magnesium. a deficiency in these minerals can cause restlessness and tension. go to the health food store and pick up some “calmag”.
8) get therapeutic massage. now were starting to relax!
9)get checked for food allergies. find a good naturopathic doctor.
10) get checked for anemia. this can be done with a blood test. anemia can make you feel lethargic and fatigued.
11) if you feel particularly fatigued and tired, get checked for mono…. seriously.
many common ailments can be treated naturally without the use of drugs. drugs weaken the system overall when used unnecessarily.
for example, the over-use of antibiotics causes a weak immune system. a fever is your body’s effort to kill off bad bacteria. a runny nose is the body’s effort to flush something out. moreover, the body has bad bacteria and good bacteria. antibiotics kill all bacteria. that’s why the doctor recommends eating yogurt while on an antibiotic (yogurt contains good bacteria). that’s also why many women get yeast infections after taking an antibiotic. all the good bacteria is dead and the balance goes off.
although antibiotics can save lives and are extremely valuable in dire situations, they are not always necessary. if you are only moderately ill it is actually wiser to let the illness run it’s course.
here are a few things you can do to assist the body in healing itself:
1) take garlic for a cold/flu. garlic boosts immunity and helps the body fight infection.
2) eat lemon for a cold/flu. with the first signs of illness i start eating as many lemons as i can get down! all that vitamin c will usually knock it right out.
3) cut out all white sugar. no cookies, no ice cream, no soda, no juice. nothing but water to drink.
4) drink as much water as possible. i try to get down a gallon in a day if i’m feeling ill.
5) take niacin for a cold/flu. niacin is a b vitamin which causes a hot flush. the flush helps to kill off bad bacteria just like a fever. (don’t take too much!)
6) take a steam shower or sauna. again, heat is working to kill off infection.
7) take acidophilus and colloidal silver. available at most health food stores, these supplements boost immunity and promote healthy bacteria.
8) cayenne pepper for a sore throat. i gargle a little bit in water. cayenne is also works to clean the blood. i take it in pill form daily.
9) hydrogen peroxide for a sore throat. if the cayenne is too spicy try this as a gargle.
10) change your lifestyle for better immunity. if you are prone to colds and flus try- cutting down on white sugar, eating more raw fruits and veggies, cutting down on dairy, cutting out all artificial sweeteners completely, drinking more water, cutting out all fast food, taking garlic daily, taking cayenne daily, exercising daily to a healthy sweat.
in fact, they are out-performed by placebos. that means taking nothing works better than taking a psychotropic drug.
they do however, kill brain cells, causeimbalances, create addictions and render the person less able to resolve the core issues he or she is facing.
some may argue that they are necessary in extreme cases, but in view of the fact that they cause suicidal and homicidal thoughts in people who had never experienced such things before and the fact that they drive formerly non-violent people to extreme violence, it is clear that any possible benefit or use as a “chemical straight jacket” is wildly variable at best and extremely dangerous at worst.
many, many people take drugs for many different reasons. from alcohol to heroin, drugs serve a definite purpose in the mind of the addict. there is no question here as to whether or not mental stress exists. clearly it does. the point is that there is a lie on the subject of prescription psychotropic drugs. and the lie is that they are different from alcohol or heroin.
the marketing line says they are medical drugs when they serve no medical purpose.
this is not an antibiotic. this is not a blood thinner. this is not a hormone. this is not insulin.
interesting viewpoint. psychotropic drugs now feature black box warnings for suicidal and homicidal thoughts and behavior. when will they be taken off the market?
it is a sign of the times we are living in that people become shocked and intensely impressed when they find out how i make popcorn. in a pot, on the stove, with some olive oil.
i hate microwaves. i won’t use them. not even for the smallest, quickest task. i’ll even go out of my way to ask the waitress if a microwave was employed in the preparation of my food- and if so, take it away. yep- i am that much of a freak. and why not?
there’s a reason they say “nuke it”.
microwaves heat using radiation- this process kills any and all nutritional value and leaves you with dead, indigestible, acidic and sometimes poisonous food.
a substitute technology worth looking into is far-infrared technology. popular in Japan, far-infrared appliances include: ovens, egg cookers, heating pads and even personal saunas. far-infrared waves are not dangerous to human health. in fact, the opposite is true. the far-infrared wave is the natural wave emanated by living organisms, including human bodies. when you sleep next to someone, your body is exchanging far-infrared waves with their body. far-infrared waves increase circulation and therefore clean the blood. it has also been proven that food cooked with far-infrared appliances are very high in anti-oxidants. it is no wonder that the Japanese are deeply concerned about the dangerous effects of GMO’s on human health. visit my store for a wide variety of infrared appliances.
let me know if you’ve ever used far-infrared technology.
here are a few things for you to try BEFORE placing your 7 year old child on a toxic, addictive, dangerous amphetamine drug for his supposed “learning disorder”.
1) get him an eye exam. many kids who have been “diagnosed” with a “learning disorder” merely had poor vision and needed glasses.
2) stop feeding your child Lucky Charms before you send him off to school. as a matter of fact, cut out all white sugar… it is what sold so many false prescriptions for “ADHD”.
3) ban all artificial sweeteners, like aspartame. these are chemicals not foods. they can especially react upon a small child’s health and behavior.
4) get him checked for food allergies. these can affect concentration.
5) try a tutor you freak. do you honestly think that speed is going to make your kid a genius?
6) curb the t.v. and video game time. these have an obvious effect on I.Q.! instead have him play outside.
7) if the situation continues, why not try a new school? smaller classes, more individual attention.
this is a serious issue. if you guys have ideas on this, please leave them in the comments.
we, as a society, have been brainwashed to believe that we need industry in order to live a full life. we have handed over all responsibility to a far off company. we no longer know, nor do we care, how our everyday products are produced. if we did, we would need to buy far less.
we are so starved of such basic knowledge that we are quite at the mercy of themarket. and if this trend continues, we will have no other choice but to consume that which is made available, no matter the quality.
somewhere amidst the colorful billboards, air-brushed commercials, clever slogans and glamorous magazine ads, we have forgotten that companies are for profit and that quality is often sacrificed for such.
it is no mistake that the food made popular by advertising encourages unhealthy conditions which lead to the sale of drugs.
it is no mistake that drugs made popular by advertising are meant not to heal, but to “maintain” conditions by constant use. and it is not by accident that these are very addictive.
personally, i do not own a television. to me it is quite a scary thought that millions of people over the country are watching the same images at the same time. i, for one, do not want to have the same experience as everyone else. i find that watching t.v. stifles my motivation and creativity as well as my individual thought. where a great movie will inspire and encourage action, t.v. only sedates.
imagine all the extra time you will have on your hands when you stop watching t.v.! just enough time to learn how to make things yourself. just enough time to stop being a slave to the market.
